"Ghostpaw!" She screeched buring her fur into the apprentice's.
"It's alright, Duskysky." A dark tabby whispered. "Cats die."
"Gorsestone?" She exclaimed. The usually grim and moody cat looked down at his former apprentice with a...sympathy. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." He replied gazing into the distance.
"You aren't usually this..." Duskysky started.
"Nice? I know."
"Yeah." She sighed.
"I'll speak to Shiverstar about giving you Waterpaw." Gorsestone told her. "Something needs to cover that emptiness. Now go fetch some prey. I'll watch Ghostpaw."
